Every day your garage door takes a beating and over time it is likely to see a build-up of dirty finger prints from the regular opening and closing of the door, as well as damage from sunlight fading and the dust and dirt that Mother Nature throws its way. It is no surprise therefore that after a while your door is likely to require a clean. Fortunately this is something easy and inexpensive to do.
If you have a steel or aluminium garage door, all you will require to clean it is:
- A large sponge
- A scrubbing brush
- An old rag
- Some mild detergent
- A bucket of warm water
Simply wet the garage door with the warm water and use the brush or sponge to gently scrub the surface of the door with a mixture of detergent and warm water. Thoroughly rinse the door once you are finished and allow it to dry.
