How Secure is Your Garage Door?

People who store vehicles, tools and other valuables in their garages should not have to worry that the door is a weak point in their garage security. We supply and install secure garage doors manufactured by Garador and for those who are particularly concerned, we can add on additional security features.

Up & Over – Optional 4 Point Locking Kit

All Garador canopy and retractable Up & Over garage doors can be installed with an increased number of locking points. This kit comprises steel locking bar rods and extra latches that apply automatically when the door is slam-shut. We would always recommend this additional security feature to people who are planning to store valuable tools and equipment in their garage. 

Sectional – Built-in Security

The way a sectional door is designed makes it an exceptionally secure door. Any attempt to jemmy the door from beneath will fail as the bottom three panels won’t move until the top panel moves. The top panel is secured by permanent mechanical lock to prevent it being pushed in from the outside.

Roller – Automatic Alarm

Whenever your Garador roller door is shut, an alarm is automatically set. It is not a very big alarm, but it is very loud: 105 decibels! The exterior crank handle – for gaining access to your garage in the event of a power cut – has a lockable cylinder to make sure that nobody other than the garage owner can use a crank to get in.
