However, if you would rather see what happens when a 7.5 ton lorry is driven into a bollard at 35mph, then watch  this video. You might be forgiven for thinking that the bollard will come off worse - but not when it's an FAAC bollard. 

A quick conversion into metric gives us, around 6800kg travelling at 50km/h. By our calculation that makes the momentum of the lorry an impressive 94,444 joule seconds per metre. An average car travelling at 60mph would only have a momentum of a little over 41000 joule seconds per metre, so this is a serious stress test of a bollard.
