Find Us!For a front door to do its job properly, it must be secure and look secure. The FrontGuard range of entrance doors from Garador score highly on both these counts – and they’re thermally efficient to boot. If you are worried that your front door doesn’t offer a sufficient deterrent to a would-be intruder, you should consider upgrading to FrontGuard. Here are some of the range’s features and options.
Burglar Repellent Lock System
FrontGuard entrance doors feature a multi-point locking system. That means when you turn the key: several bolts slide across. The hinge side of the door is similarly well-protected with three security bolts. The doors have the RC 2 rating – confirming that they have been tested and stood firm against physical force and basic burglary tools.
Shatterproof Glazing
A number of FrontGuard doors have glazing as part of their design. All glazing is double-glazing consisting of laminated security glass on the exterior and shatter-proof safety glass on the interior.
Thermal Performance
FrontGuard doors meet high specifications for thermal efficiency. The door is filled with Polyurethane foam that slows down the transfer of heat through the door, keeping you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. (For more on the science of thermodynamics as relating to doors see our previous blog).
Contemporary Design
The modern look and feel of the door is a key selling point. There are a range of designs, some more contemporary looking and some with the modern security and efficiency features hidden behind a more classic exterior. You can choose between designs with different glazing and handle options and you can choose the colour that complements your property.
