Automated Garage Doors and Gates can now supply and install the newly redesigned Stoppy rising bollard from BFT. Bollards are an effective method of restricting unauthorised vehicular access to your property or limiting access to vulnerable areas where high pedestrian footfall is common.
The Stoppy bollard comes fully assembled, pre wired and ready for installation with no hydraulic plumbing required. They are available in a choice of 500mm or 700mm sizes which can be fully raised in 6 and 9 seconds respectively. Up to 4 bollards can be raised or lowered simultaneously using the control panel.
To guarantee safety in poor visibility, the Stoppy bollard is supplied with flashing or fixed lights on both the top and sides of the outer case. The case has also been improved and its special conical shape in combination with the EPDM gasket considerably reduces debris penetration, improving the protection of the outer tube.
